Forest Cry
Forest Cry is the design I made for the National Awards of Art on Engineering Competition. The purpose of the competition is to demonstrate scientific value, combine it with human life, and highlight the humanistic spirit and introspection in the design.
Nowadays, technologies change rapidly, and people are always pursuing newer sensory experiences.
The eyeball, formed by the gear, and the dog nose represent that people are having more and more amazing sensory experience through the development of technology. The factory and black smoke on the top of the head represent that people are pursuing advanced technology because of their desires, but ignoring the damaged forest and environment. Bears and birds have no place to live because of the destruction of the environment. They want to speak for their living environment, but they could only watch their favorite forests being razed to the ground. The opened mouth represents the silent cry of animals and the forest.
